World Minerals on Friday 29th May 20:00 – 21:00 CET features the latest CDs from Bassekou Kouyaté & Ngoni Ba, Seckou Keita, Kiran Ahluwalia and The Young Folk.
Bassekou Kouyaté & Ngoni Ba, Seckou Keita and Kiran Ahluwalia are already established names and need no introduction but The Young Folk from Ireland have only just released their debut album, The Little Battle. The band is based around singer, guitarist and songwriter Anthony Furey. They are also the guests in Acoustic Roots on Friday 19 June 21:00 – 22:00 CET which features a live performance and an interview with the band.
