Episode 1159. We’re letting go of the church calendar and following Bach’s cantatas chronologically. This way, we can hear the development of Bach’s composing style, and in 2024, we will arrive at the extensive commemoration of Bach’s 300 years of chorale cantatas. Today we begin with the cantata “Gott ist mein König”, BWV 71.
