In this series programmamaker/presenter Thijs Bonger will try and rehabilitate the reputation ofJohan Nepomuk Hummel(1778-1837). In part 2: after a long concert tour Hummel is back in Vienna, where he takes composition lessons from among others Salieri. He supports himself by giving piano lessons. As an improvising piano virtuoso he competes with Beethoven.
