The next broadcast of Café Zimmermann with the cellist Joachim Eijlander will be recorded on Saturday 2 July in the Muzieklokaal in Utrecht. You can be there, tickets are free!
The Bach ad Infinitum team, that also organises Café Zimmermann, has found a new location for the recordings, the Muzieklokaal on the Bemuurde Weerd in Utrecht.
This is the perfect place to listen to a live performance of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach together with a cup of coffee and a piece of cake.
Pasticcio suite
Our guest on 2 July is the cellist Joachim Eijlander. He will play a ‘pasticcio suite’ consisting of parts of the cello suites by J. S. Bach and caprices by the Belgian-Italian composer and cellist Joseph Marie dall’Abaco (1710-1805).
Govert Jan Bach will also interview him.
You can attend the recording free of charge! The recording begins at 16.30, but you are asked to be present by 16.15 at the latest.
The recording will be broadcast later in the summer as part of our series Bach ad Infinitum.
