David Tibet is best known as the front man of Current 93, the legendary apocalytic neofolk band from England. His highly personal and ecstatic song texts are full of esoteric, mystical and religious references.
Early this year a book with all these song texts was published, an impressive oeuvre that spans a period of more that 30 years
David Tibet and Current 93 are headlining this year's Incubate festival on Saturday 20 September.
In Thema on Monday 1 September from 20:00 to 22:00 you can hear music from Current 93 as well as contributions by David Tibet to the work of many like-minded colleagues including Nurse with Wound, Michael Cashmore, Larsen and Six Organs of Admittance.
