World Minerals on Friday 11 March at 22:00 CET features two recent projects by the classical raga singer Kaushiki Chakrabarty in which she sings popular songs and songs for film soundtracks.
The programme includes music from the following projects:
– A recording with the all-female group Sakhi that Kaushiki Chakrabarty started in 2015.
– Karvaan, a recently issued album on which Kaushiki sings songs in a mix of popular styles.
