Episode 1268. In this new Bachweek, we continue our exploration of the cantatas in chronological order. We’ve now reached the cantatas Bach composed in the late summer and autumn of 1724. Kicking off this segment is the cantata “Jesu, der du meine Seele” BWV 78, which Bach wrote for the 14th Sunday after Trinity on 10 September 1724.
