Episode 1282. We continue our exploration of the cantatas in chronological order. We’ve now reached the cantatas Bach composed at the end of 1724. We’ll also feature Lutheran masses and the Hohe Messe. In today’s episode: cantata “Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland” II, BWV 62, which Bach wrote for the 1st Advent on 3 December 1724.
