Concerts from around the country, recorded by Concertzender.
This afternoon, Concertzender Live is all about the 20th century repertoire. Music we can surely call classic by now. There are many classic examples of the beautiful and quintessentially French chamber music of Satie, Poulenc, Auric and Milhaud, throughout which history resonates. The same applies to the pieces by Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Janacek. The odd one out on today’s programme is probably the trio by Roel van Oosten, especially composed for the Osiris Trio and for a performance at Museum De Cruquius.
