Death and the maidens.
Composer Boudewijn Tarenskeen likes to be inspired by religion, by profound emotions, by the sweltering tragic of historical or everyday events. For ELECTRA he composed ‘Rache’, in which four women commit murder. The musicians take turns in playing the leading character: Judith from the bible, German mother Marianne Bachmeier from the harsh reality, Elektra from the ancient Greek drama by Ayschylos and the bride from Tarantino’s cult movie ‘Kill Bill’.
