The Seeger family
The Seeger family has been entwined with music as performers, composers and scholars for generations. Not only have they played an important role in the revival of American folk music, they have also written influential classical works. Today we’ll listen to compositions and songs by Charles Seeger, his wife Ruth Crawford Seeger and son Pete Seeger.
