The second part of a two-part special on Martijn Tellinga.
Martijn Tellinga is a composer, whose work is usually categorized in Sonic Arts. His work aims at an intuitive approach to music and music systems and he uses sound to express his ideas on the concepts of space, place and proces. His works are both an aural as a spacial experience and is more of an installation than a performance like a normal concert is. The scores of his instrumental works consist of a few propositions and simple rules that provide performers a frame in which to listen, act and interact.
