Classic jazz; Eric Borchard, whom you may remember from our previous episode, inspired many colleagues and followers as jazz musicians. Some became well-known, but most were soon forgotten. In this episode you’ll hear some regional greats such as Alex Hyde and Dajos Bela, but mainly lesser-known talents. Additionally, we will play an extremely obscure composition by Duke Ellington, of which there may not be any records.
